As child number four and the only girl in the family I spent my early years resembling a ball of pink, fluffy candyfloss!

While my parents adore my three older brothers, they were so overjoyed at having a baby girl that they went on 'pink overdrive' and insisted that I be dressed from head to toe in it, with the more frills and lace the better!

Thank goodness the baby clothes of today have progressed with the times, and we are allowed to dress our little girls in cute, pretty clothes in a variety of different styles and colours (even blue!).

A perfect example of this is the Holland Park Dress Set by No Added Sugar.

This beautiful red and white candy stripped dress with matching underwear will look stunning on any little girl. Made from soft jersey cotton, the dress features a ruche bodice and the shoulders are trimmed with ribbon. The matching underwear is trimmed with pleated ribbon and has just the right amount of frill to look adorable. Made from 100% cotton this outfit is machine washable at 40 degrees.

The Violeta Spot Dresses by Louie Louis are shirt style dresses with a mega polka dot print all over.

Coming in both purple and white and red and white, these cute sleeveless dresses have four sparkly buttons down the front and will keep your baby 'spot on trend' this summer.

For cooler summer evenings you might want something with sleeves, so take a look at the Kamille Blue & Purple Striped Baby Dress by Louie Louis.

A beautiful deep lavender and turquoise striped dress; it features an apron style pocket on the front and an a-style lining. Designed with 'room to grow' this dress is made from  95% cotton and 5% elastane.

A staple for any summer wardrobe, the Polo Dress is a timeless classic.  Organics for Kids have a wonderful short sleeve polo dress in their range.

A lovely pink colour this dress is finished with contrasting purple stitching, buttons and pocket detail to give it a modern feel.  Made from the softest 100% organic cotton, your little one will feel comfortable all day, and it just proves you can dress your little girl in pink without making her look like a powder puff!

So enjoy summer with your little girl, and be sure to take lots of pictures so she has something to say about today's fashions in 20 years!
