What are you planning to do to keep the kids occupied this half term?  With freezing cold temperatures it looks like outdoor adventures will be limited so it might be wise to stock up on a few games, puzzles and crafts for kids to avoid that “I’m bored” stage!

Children’s puzzles and board games are ideal for those wintry afternoons indoors and they are available for any amount of players so you just need to add a bag of sweets for an afternoon of fun!

For the younger ones this Magnetic Fishing Game by Djeco is ideal.  An educational toy that improves concentration and co-ordination, it is great fun to play with and includes 12 brightly coloured fish and 2 fishing rods.

Jigsaw puzzles such as those found in the Djeco collection are perfect for kids without siblings who generally play alone.  Bright, colourful and entertaining, Djeco’s Silhouette puzzles are available in a range of different designs and will be played with over and over again.

If you have a whole bunch of kids at home then a card game that they can play together is perfect for half term.  The superheroes card game in the Djeco collection is great fun to play with, and as each game lasts only 10 minutes it guarantees to keep the kids entertained.

For older kids who like a challenge, this wonderful observation jigsaw puzzle by Djeco will take a good few hours to complete. It comes with all the pieces you need to recreate a scene of ancient Egypt and is full of great detailing and hidden surprises.

The Four Seasons Loto Game in the Djeco collection is a wonderful educational toy designed to help younger children recognise the changes that come with each season.  Suitable for up to four players, this loto game comes with 16 different picture cards.

Great puzzles and games will certainly help you get through half term, and may just help transform a ‘boring’ afternoon in to one of great fun!
