Well the countdown has officially started and with just two weeks to go until the children break up from school, our house is buzzing with excitement of our upcoming holiday.

As the children are getting older, it is time for them to have their own suitcases, which they can pack themselves (with a little guidance) and carry to the airport with pride.

I was completely amazed at the amount of suitcases sets available that are specifically designed for children. Fun, bright and conveniently sizes cases are perfect for children who are ready to be more independent, and make stunning children’s gifts.

This delightful three-piece suitcase set by Egmont, would be perfect for any young lady.

Finished in bright red with white spots, this quality set of cases are made from rigid card. Perhaps not strong enough to withstand the airport luggage handlers, these suitcases would be ideal for those travelling to their holiday destination by car.

Each of the differently sized cases has a secure metal handle, and clasps to keep them tightly closed.

A perfect children’s gift for any little girl, they can be used over and over again.

For those travelling further afield, a sturdy set of children’s suitcases designed to withstand airplane travel would be ideal.  This lovely “Cazbi the Bee” suitcase and backpack set by Picture Cases is exactly what I had in mind.

A perfect combination to brighten up your travels, this practical and hard-wearing case set is made from the highest quality materials.

The wheeled trolley case is made from ABS/Polycarbonate that makes it virtually shatterproof.  Brightly coloured, these cases have been designed to look like “Cazbi bee” so your children will love pulling this behind them as they get to the airport, and it is one less bag for you to carry!

A matching rucksack can be packed with all their sweets, colouring books and other entertaining items for the flight, and they are ready to go.

A perfect children’s gift, this set and all the other is the “Picture Case” collections are delightful for those on their summer travels – enjoy!
