If your summer holiday is just around the corner, then like me, you are already thinking about the mammoth packing task you have at hand. Packing for my husband and three children is quite a task, so this year I have decided to make things a little easier on myself and am encouraging the kids to pack for themselves, and while it may not be the wisest decision I have ever made, I think with a little help we might just manage it. Firstly, I think giving the children their own suitcases is a good place to start. Something of their own, that they can take care of and pack themselves is a good life lesson - and one less thing for me to carry!
