As many of my friends are coming towards the end of their pregnancies, it looks as though spring is going to be a busy period for the stork! A wonderful time of year when the sun begins to shine, the daffodils appear and we can spend more time outdoors, spring is the perfect time of year to welcome these beautiful new arrivals, I am already on the lookout for some great newborn baby gifts and soft toys.
While baby clothing makes a wonderful gift for newborns, everyone has different tastes so I prefer to go with something I know both the parents and the baby will love – a cute and cuddly soft toy.
Soft toys never go out of fashion and they are now available in a whole range of colours and designs so you can find a different teddy or doll for each new arrival.
A great example is the delightful FLATOUT Bears, handmade in Australia from 100% sheepskin. Gorgeous cuddly bears with ‘baby safe’ eyes and nose, they come in two different sizes and a variety of different colours. Every child should have a FLATOUT bear, and with a celebrity fan base including Tom Cruise and Sarah Jessica Parker, it seems the recipient will be in good company!
For something completely different, this soft toy by Noodoll is bright, cuddly and has been CE certified for safety. Miss Dino is a “Rice-osaurus” made from the softest fleece and features a yellow crest tail and a row of pointy teeth. Super cute, Miss Dino will look great in any new baby’s bedroom and will certainly stand out from the other teddies and dolls!
