Here at Bird Kids, we fell in love with the Mini Rodini range of children’s clothes as soon as we saw it. Created by Cassandra Rhodin, a Swedish illustrator, in 2006, the clothes are designed to express creativity and humour. We think that they do this marvellously, and that their clothes are just gorgeous, as well as being long-lasting and from sustainable sources.
These three jumpers are my particular favourites and a must-have while the spring weather is still a little nippy at times!
I know I said jumpers, but this cardigan is too cute to resist! Featuring a ribbed hem and sleeves, as well as 5 tortoiseshell buttons, it’s knitted from a wonderfully soft mixture of wool and angora. It goes with so many outfits, and it’s durable enough to be worn time and time again.
Again, it’s not quite a traditional jumper, but I’m yet to meet a little girl that doesn’t simply love this sweater dress. The dancing bear on the front is a really fun design, especially the pink tutu! It looks great over leggings and jeans, or tights as the weather starts to get a little warmer.
If you liked the bear in a tutu, how about a panda in a top hat? This lovely, beige sweater’s design never fails to raise a smile. It’s knitted from 70% angora, making it very soft indeed, but the added nylon ensures that it will be a wardrobe favourite for a long time!
I’m sure you’ll agree that Mini Rodini children’s clothes are the perfect combination of great design and durability, and that these jumpers are ideal for keeping warm and stylish on cool Spring afternoons.
