Terms & Conditions

Orders are accepted under the following terms & conditions. These terms and conditions will be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. They for the basis of a contract between the person or company (the Customer or You) purchasing the goods from BIRDKIDS LTD


Where applicable VAT will be charged. An VAT invoice can be supplied on request.

Price Match

We are happy to consider a price match for any of our products. For your price match request to be valid you need to ensure the product is in stock on the competitor website and that the competing seller isn't Amazon or eBay. We will then look to review your price match request within 24hrs.

Once you're price match has been approved by our team you will have 72 hours to complete your priced match purchase.

Collection & Delivery

Customers can collect their items from the Company BIRDKIDS LTD's warehouse or shop and make payment at the same time if they so wish. Please call beforehand to ensure that someone will be able to deal with you. If we are delivering the items they will be despatched by our nominated courier company. Please be aware that courier companies are not 100% reliable. The Company accepts responsibility for ensuring your order is received by the courier company, and that their paperwork is completed accurately. However, we do not accept responsibility for errors made by courier companies. We do not offer a 'deliver inside' or installation service. In the event that a booking has been made with the buyer but the delivery company arrives to find that there is no-one to accept delivery the buyer will be responsible for any re-delivery charges and the goods will not be released from the carrier's depot until such fees have been paid to the seller. Please note that any delivery which involves a major water crossing will incur additional charges as will deliveries to some of the more remote areas of the British Isles. We always pass these charges on to the buyer at our cost + VAT. If you are unsure about how much delivery will be then contact us before making your purchase as we will insist on payment of these additional charges before shipping the goods.

Payment Terms

For non-trade sales the Company will require cleared funds prior to despatch of goods. We accept payment by cash in person, cheque (we require 7 days for cheques to clear before we can release goods), BACS (ask for bank details), all major credit cards (either in person or card holder not present) and postal orders. Please make cheques and postal orders payable to BIRD. If sending postal orders please use recorded or special delivery mail. We cannot accept liability for any monies sent but not received. Trade sales are subject to approval by our credit referral agency. In the case of a zero credit limit we will require cleared funds prior to despatch of goods. We reserve the right to charge interest under The Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 on overdue accounts.

Packing & Transport

We will ensure that all orders are packaged in a way suitable to the product and the method of despatch. If there are any vehicular restrictions that will prevent delivery being made it is your responsibility to inform us so that alternative arrangements can be made. In order for us to process any insurance claim the item must be checked on delivery any delivery that is signed for either without checking or as 'unchecked' will invalidate the returns procedure and insurance.

Refunds & Returns

You may return any item to us for any reason for refund or exchange, at our discretion, within 7 days of receipt. The Customer must call the Company for a Returns Number before returning any items. The item must be returned in its original packaging and condition and be fit for re-sale. All postage costs are the responsibility of the customer. The Company reserves the right to charge a realistic fee for repackaging if the product is returned due to the Customer changing their mind. Everything that we send out is checked prior to despatch. We recommend that on receipt you check the item before signing for them as once the goods are signed for we will not accept any claims for damages. If you sign for the goods as 'unchecked' we will not accept any claims for damages that are discovered at a later time. Our suggestion is that you check, then sign and if that means keeping the courier waiting don't feel bad as it's protecting you. If an item proves to be faulty we will need to be notified within 7 days and we will need a full explanation and where appropriate, photographic evidence. We will either replace the damaged/faulty component or replace the item in its entirety at our discretion. If the customer decides to cancel the order then they will fall liable for the cost of the delivery to them and also for the return. We suggest you obtain proof of posting when returning an item to us and use a signed for method, as we cannot accept responsibility for items not received. Goods ordered in error will need to be returned at the Customer's expense. We are continually updating and improving our products so there might be changes in the product received to the one shown in a listing. We accept no liability for such changes. If you require an exact dimension we advise you to contact us first as no liability will be accepted for any variances.


We are continually improving and developing our products so the exact specification of the products shown on this site may well change without notice. Wherever we provide a multipart item the parts we supply will always fit together to make a completed item. We accept no liability for the components not fitting with other items provided by the customer. If you are particularly tight on space or are looking to incorporate a part of our product with some other item you already have or are planning to obtain we recommend that you call first to ascertain exact dimensions of the product we will supply to you. No liability will be accepted for any losses incurred by the Customer and we will charge delivery costs and retain any already paid if we agree to exchange or refund a purchase that is returned for this reason.


All our products carry a 12 month warranty. If the product fails due to a manufacturing defect we will repair or replace the affected part at our discretion. Where necessary we will replace the entire unit. In the eventuality that we need to replace or repair a part of the unit or replace the entire unit the Company accepts no liability for any extra works which may be involved ie removal and or re-fitting of the product. If the product is found to be faulty due to negligence in the fitting and or use by the customer then no refund will be made and the warranty will be declared void. The warranty is only on a Return to Base basis and the expense of transportation is to be borne by the buyer. Any alterations to the product will invalidate the warranty.


We accept no liability for any damages to property or life as a result of incorrect use and or fitting of the products. We suggest that you do not book tradesmen or arrange schedules of work around the item until you have it in your possession. We accept no liability for delays that may be caused due to an item being out of stock or a delivery being delayed due to issues related to the carriage.
